Free Online Training Sessions
Did you know that ECSI offers free online training sessions for our Industry Leading SAL System? By utilizing Virtual Network Conferencing Software (VNC), ECSI can dial directly into your PC to offer On-Line, Real-Time Training Sessions to your College/University, at your convenience. Another tool we use for online training at ECSI is Gatherplace.net, a proven and well-respected data conference technology. It empowers us to do training with up to 25 users at a time and at multiple workstations simultaneously. We offer training on accounting, collections, debt management, default reduction, reports, and more! When needed, please feel free to contact Annette Rawlings (ECSI Conversion Coordinator / Client Training Manager) at 1-800-437-6931 to schedule On-line Training Sessions for you and your staff.

Did you know that ECSI also offers 24/7 web access to several on-line training tools, including free PowerPoint training sessions and the SAL User Manual that you can use to learn more about the SAL System? To access these training sessions on-line, login to the ECSI website and click on the link for “SAL Training” under “Documents”. From the next menu, just choose the training session you would like to view. It’s that simple!



ECSI Email Contact Groups
The subject came up at our User’s Conference that many clients were unsure of which email group to use for different subjects, tasks, requests, etc. Below is a list of ECSI’s email groups. If you are ever in doubt you may send your email to admin@ecsi.net and it will get forwarded to the correct group. We also ask that you do not send these types of emails to an individual at ECSI, as this delays ECSI from getting the response back to you in a timely matter.

admin@ecsi.net - Any system requests, billing inquiries, regulation questions, banking questions, (this group contains all of the programmers, sales staff, helpdesk staff, banking staff, web staff).

operations@ecsi.net - Any SAL-NET function problems or questions, report questions, password resets, security questions, advance files notifications, exit files notifications, etc.

cservice@ecsi.net - Any tasks or questions on a borrowers account. Example direct payments, credit bureau changes, address changes, etc.

sales@ecsi.net - Any questions on contracts, additional services, pricing, etc.

prom@ecsi.net - Any prom note related question or file regarding the E-signature on Prom notes process we provide.

ecsi-tpp@ecsi.net - Any Tuition Payment Plan questions regarding the actual accounts themselves.

 

Latest ECSI News

After the success of this year’s Annual User’s Conference, we have already scheduled our 2007 ECSI User’s Conference. Next year’s Conference will be held June 4-6, 2007 at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, PA. We hope you will all set aside these dates and plan to attend.

This year, we welcomed our first K-12 school to the ECSI family, Winchester Thurston. They are a private school located here in Pittsburgh and are a new Tuition Payment Plan (TPP) client. Winchester Thurston is paving the way for more K-12 clients as our business continues to grow in this new market.

Just a reminder, ECSI has a new fax number. The new number is 866-291-5384. Through a company called My Fax, all incoming faxes are now converted to PDF files and received via email. The new fax process automatically forwards faxes from the old 412-494-5626 number. Please be sure to update this important contact information.

ECSI would like to send out a welcome to all of our new clients who recently converted to ECSI at the start of this fiscal year. These clients include: The University of Oklahoma, George Fox University, Kentucky Christian University, Charleston Southern University, The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, and The California State System.
