2/10/2004 New Agency Monthly Inventory Procedure ECSI has made significant revisions to the method agency inventory is made available. This change is in addition to our new Premium Service. Once a month, you will receive an email to notify you that your monthly inventory has been updated. The inventories are now packaged in a single archive. This speeds transfer of the file to you and reduces the number of operations you must perform on ECSI's site. The inventory for all of your schools is now available in a single location. The archive is in ZIP format and is compatible with many free or inexpensive compressions products. Our recomendation is WinZip, from WinZip Computing. You can retrieve an evaluation version for free from their web site: http://www.winzip.com. The email notices you receive have also changed. The email will contain a link directly to your monthly archive file. Gone are multiple logins!! You will need to provide your agency code and password only one time after you click on the link in your inventory email. After you've been authenticated, your inventory will immediately begin to download. We belive that these changes will substantially reduce the time and effort it takes to retrieve your inventory from ECSI. The new process is more friendly, more efficient and less prone to error.
