March 11, 2004 The Department of Education has released a "Dear Partner Letter" announcing changes to the 2005-2006 FISAP for the Federal Perkins Loan Program and other programs. The changes pertain to Part III Section B, Fund Activity during the 2003-2004 Award Year. Four fields have been added that collect information on those borrowers who are in default for 2 or more years and have paid principal during the 2003-2004 Award Year. ECSI will be adding these fields to our FISAP report (Report 14) generated by SAL. The changes will be in place before June 30, 2004, and therefore will be on the FISAP generated at the end of the fiscal year.
