This is just a reminder that starting in 1998, the Department of Education ceased publishing paper copies of the Directory of Low-Income Schools for Teacher Cancellation Benefits. This information is now only available electronically. Updates are periodically made available but they are also only published electronically. The directory can be found at the Department of Education's Web site at http://www.ed.gov/offices/OPE/Students/repayment/teachers/perkins.html. The Department's main page can be found at http://www.ed.gov/studentaid. A modification to SAL will be available to permit you to view the list of Low-Income schools without leaving SAL. Full details will be announced at the 1999 User's Conference.
