Changes to Clearinghouse Exits Process on Web
ECSI has made several changes to the online Clearinghouse Exit system in an effort
to streamline the process of approving/bypassing individual exits. The changes to the process
are outlined below.
The system was originally designed to bypass one or two people by clicking on "Edit," which
took you to another page, where you could exit or bypass that person. This process left
the majority of exits on the list to be exited via the "Exit All" option. This process was
inefficient if you had more than a few exits to bypass.
To make the process more effecient, we have added a couple of options to the exit system.
The menu items will now work as described here:
- Menu, Edit, and Refresh: These options work the same as before.
- Bypass One: Select an exit from the list by clicking on the radio button to bypass
one person without proceeding to the "Edit" page.
- Exit One: Select an exit from the list by clicking on the radio button to exit
one person without proceeding to the "Edit" page.
- Bypass All: This will bypass all people that have not already been marked for exiting.
- Exit All: This will exit all people that have not already been marked for bypassing.
With either the "Exit One" or the "Exit All" options, you have the option of entering a
specific separation date in the "Sep Date" fields located below the "Exit All" option. If
you leave this field blank, the system uses the default date. Also, as long as you remain on
the Clearinghouse Exits list page, the system will remember the last radio button selected. This
should help you with your workflow, especially when dealing with longer lists.
The changes detailed above should substantially decrease the amount of time required to process
the Clearinghouse Exits list by making the process more efficient.

Operations Department.
