January 14, 2003 The Department of Education has posted a notice to their Information Collection System (EDICS) requesting public comment on the Federal Perkins Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN). The first comment period began on December 30, 2002 and ends on February 28, 2003. There will be a second, 30-day comment period before the MPN is submitted to the Office of Management and Budget for final approval. You may view the notice posted to the EDICS site by following the link below. You may also download a copy of the Perkins MPN in MS Word format from ECSI's site. To do this, right click on the link below. Then choose "Save target as" or "Save Link as" from the menu. Choose where you would like to save the document on your computer, and click the Save button. You will then be able to view the MPN from your computer by opening it in MS Word.
