June 14, 2001 ECSI is pleased to announce the expansion of our Electronic Bill Presentment service. Electronic Bills are close reproductions of the paper bills ECSI sends. Borrowers can currently view these bills on ECSI's web site. In the past, Electronic Bills were only prepared for student loan bills, delinquent receivables and tuition payment plans. Typically, people participating in our ACH or Coupons program only receive account statements once a year. We have extended the Electronic Bill section of our site to provide monthly account statements. These statements are clearly marked "Not a bill!" so as to minimize confusion. Another enhancement is the ability to present bills to recipients with bad billing addresses. This will be useful to people who forget to submit an address change prior to moving. Even though they have missed their paper bill, they can now quickly retrieve a copy from the web site. We hope you find these enhancements useful.
