ECSI will provide a full-service offering for clients wishing to out source their 1098-T's.

For the past two years, ECSI has provided various levels of service to our clients in preparing their 1098-E tax documents. Services range from simply providing a raw data file on the low end through printing and mailing forms, electronic submission to the IRS and full web presentment on the upper end.

ECSI will offer this same level of service and support in our 1098-T program. There are three levels of service that a client may select. The levels are intended to meet each customer's budget and situation. For all options, client is responsible for providing tax information in an electronic form. ECSI is very flexible in using most ASCII formats that a client can provide. Our forms can contain either simple summary information or both summary and detail depending on the client's ability to provide detail information electronically.

• Option 1: Full Service
  ECSI takes the file provided by the client, prints and mails all tax documents, submits the tax information electronically to the IRS and provides borrower's secure access to their information using our web site. Borrower's may provide demographic updates electronically which will be returned to the school. Tax document images are provided on CD-ROM in a form suitable for reprint. ECSI can also perform the reprint services at the client's discretion.
• Option 2: Printing Service
  ECSI will print and mail all documents. Submission to the IRS is the client's responsibility. Web services provided to borrowers. Client will receive a CD-ROM containing tax document images, suitable for reprint.
• Option 3: Electronic Submission
  ECSI will submit client's data electronically to the IRS. Client performs all document preparation and mailing. No web services are provided to the borrower.

As you can see, ECSI has a solution to fit your needs. Custom services are also available should you have special needs.
