For years, ECSI has provided clients with micro-fiche copies of their monthly reports. While micro-fiche and micro-film were an efficient mechanism at one time, technology has made these media obsolete. Effective December 1, 1999 ECSI will be giving our micro-fiche clients our new, monthly Reports CD-ROM. We will no longer distribute micro-fiche starting December 1.

As mentioned in our September 1999 newsletter, we have been testing our monthly Reports CD for several months. The feedback has been positive and we are now ready to begin expanding the number of clients receiving the Reports CD. Clients who are currently receiving micro-fiche will be the first group of clients to be converted to a monthly Report CD. We think you will find that the new CD technology is a vast improvement over the older micro-fiche technology.

When you insert the CD, a window will show you the catalog of reports included on the CD. Currently every report that ECSI produces for a client is included on the CD. Also, we have included a sophisticated yet simple-to-use report viewer. The viewer is a Microsoft Windows application which behaves like many of the Windows applications you are already familiar with. The viewer supports browsing, printing and searching.

After you have used the new monthly Report CD, we think you'll agree that it is a vast improvement over micro-fiche.

Effective January 1, 2000 all clients that currently receive their monthly reports on diskette will begin receiving the new monthly Reports CD. As of January 1 we will no longer distribute reports on diskettes every month. Reports will continue to be transmitted to clients (or available by FTP) as before.
