On May 10, 1999, ECSI added a new web-based application for our clients. This new service is the gateway to all interactive client services that we will provide on the web site. The initial release supports our new Transmission Confirmation facility. Transmission Confirmations allow from one to ten people at your site to be notified when a file transmission has completed successfully. Many people may feel that they already receive too much email. If you would rather not receive email notifications, you can use the on-line facilities to view your transmission history on a periodic basis. You can view the current month, last month or all history on file. The first version of the Transmission Confirmation facility will only support FTP file transfers. Future versions will also support Remotely Possible and Web downloads. We hope to have the available in the coming months. The transmission notifications and on-line log are a great way to be sure that any transmission was successful. Just to let you know our intentions, we have included the next application we will release on the menu. Soon, you will have the ability to view the same information a student views when they check their account information on our web site. Watch for a news release in the next few weeks.
