This document assumes that you have already installed the Netscape 4.0 newsreader. These instructions begin after the installation is complete.

1. Start Netscape Navigator 4.0.
2. From the menu, select Edit, Preferences
3. Select Mail & Groups
4. Select Groups Server
5. Under Discussion groups (news) server, enter ecsi.net then press the OK button.

6. Select Communicator, Collabra Discussion Groups
7. Right click on News
8. Select Subscribe to Discussion Groups (you will have to wait a bit while it finds the newsgroups for you).
9. Enter your user name for the discussion group (your ECSI user ID).
10. Enter your password (your ECSI password)
11. A list will eventually show up of all ECSI newsgroups (message areas) available. Subscribe to the message areas to which you are interested.
