These notes will help you understand how to use the Table of Contents and the location of different information on the site.

• As mentioned in the Layout discussion, the frame on the left presents the Table of Contents.
  
  
• Any time your lost in the site, pick the Home link or single left-click on the small ECSI icon at the top. Either action will take you to the site's main entry point.
  
  
• The initial Table of Contents is an abbreviated list of only the major sections on the site. A more detailed version of the contents is available by selecting the [Expand Outline] link. Any time you return to the home page, the outline will be condensed to the short form.
  
  
• You can collapse the outline without returning to the home page. When the outline is in expanded form, the [Expand Outline] is replaced with a [Condense Outline] link. Selecting condense will return the outline to the short version.
  
  
• What's Where? This list will provide a general overview of where to find information on the ECSI site.
  1. Home page takes you back to the beginning. Use this if your lost or just want to go back to the beginning.
  2. Products describes the products and services that ECSI provides. All of our marketing and sales literature can be found here.
  3. Borrowers contains information an are where students can view their loan status. Future projects will provide many more features for students so please keep checking back!
  4. Clients contains information intended for existing users of the SAL software. Here you can find information on regulations, technical information (such as documentation on printers, networks, etc) and access to all of our Internet services (such as our Message Service).
  5. Agencies collection agencies retained by our clients can find all their information in the agency section.
  6. Updates is the place to look for information about what has changed on the site. A Site Update area shows all the additions and changes to the site. Use this to find new content since your last visit. You will also find a pointer to any product bulletins, alerts or announcements here. Of course, any other news-worthy information may appear in this area as needed.
  7. Downloads is the area of the site where you can pick up your program or data updates. Other files used by ECSI can be acquired here also.
  8. Contacts gives all the details about us (address, phone numbers, email accounts).
  9. Links is the area to investigate information that is outside of ECSI. Any topic that is of interest to you is there. If its not, tell us and we'll make sure it is. All of the software we use in our core-business and the Internet add-ons can be found here.
  10. Y2k Statement documents our software's compliance.
  11. Site Help will provide information on using ECSI's web site. You can find our Site Map in this area which documents all the pages on this site in outline form.
  12. Search if you are looking for something and not sure where to start, use the search facility. Using a couple of keywords, quickly find the pages on this site that match your criteria.
  13. Expand Outline presents a more detailed list of topics in the table of contents. Condense Outline presents a more concise list of topics and is the default.
