Remotely Possible Instructions

ECSI uses Remotely Possible to transfer files to and from clients. We also use the package to take 'control' of your screen and keyboard. If you have no prior experience with Remotely Possible, please take a few moments to review the information contained in this document.

Remotely Possible is available in two version. One version is for machines using Microsoft's Windows 95 operating system. The other version is for machines using Microsoft's Windows NT operating system.

If you need to install remotely possible, you will need to download one of the installation files. Download 40AEU95.EXE if your PC uses Windows 95. Download 40AEUNT.EXE if your PC uses Windows NT. A Service Pack is available which corrects some minor problems with the software. The same service pack applies to both Windows 95 and Windows NT. Download RP40_S1.ZIP which contains the updates.

After you have downloaded the installation file and the service pack, you need to contact our Operations group (412-788-3900). The installation file requires a password that must be assigned and tracked by ECSI. Our Operations staff can also help you if you encounter problems during the installation of the software.
