- Enrollment. Enrollment in the Tuition Payment Plan (TPP) is accomplished by completing, signing and submitting the online application, together with payment for the total amount of the first month’s installment and the application fee of $60.

Budget Amount/Payments. The total budgeted amount is payable in equal monthly installments due on the 1st day of each month beginning with your initial payment and $60 nonrefundable application fee. Determine the number of payments for which you are eligible using the plans listed below:

** Note: 4 month plans are for students who will be attending one term only.
- Budget Amount Changes. The monthly payment amount can be changed by contacting ECSI. If you obtain or lose other funds that are assisting with your tuition payment, you may adjust the remainder of your monthly plan to reflect these differences.
- Fees and Other Charges. The $60 application fee is non-refundable. ECSI will impose a service charge of $25 for any check which is returned for insufficient funds or which is not collectible for any other reason. ECSI will impose a $25 late fee for payments received after the due date.

TPP Payments. ECSI has been instructed to offer families a choice as to how they would like to make their monthly payments. A family may sign up to pay via a direct debit (ACH) transaction. Or, ECSI will mail your TPP Billing Statements on, or around, the 15th of each month with your Payment Due Date on the 1st of the following month. All checks should be made payable to The University of Scranton and sent to the following address:

Direct Payment Option. Participants who wish to have their monthly payments automatically deducted from their checking or savings account should sign up for the Direct Payment Option once they have been given access to ECSI's online "My Account" website.
Credit Card and Instant e-Check Payments. Payments can also be made by credit card or e-Check directly from the ECSI "My Account" website. A convenience fee is assessed on all credit card or e-Check transactions. The amount of the convenience fee is detailed during the on-line payment procedure.
- Notification of Payments. ECSI will notify The University of Scranton of payments made or budget changes on a nightly basis.
- Failure to Pay. In the event of failure of a participant to pay any installment within 15 days of the due date, The University of Scranton will be notified of the failure and enrollment in the plan may be terminated. University policies will apply for refunds or handling past due accounts. ECSI is not responsible for any action of the University taken for, against, or with respect to the participant or the student for whom amounts are budgeted, including but without limitation, suspension, termination or other sanctions.
