The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) implements common industry security requirements for all merchants and service
providers that store, process, or transmit credit card data. The purpose of PCI compliance is to ensure that all entities involved in the payment
card industry are taking the steps necessary to protect against cardholder data exposure and compromise.
ECSI's current PCI Compliance Level
Educational Computer Systems Inc. (ECSI) is a Level 3 PCI Merchant, processing between 20,000 and 1 million e-commerce transactions a year.
As a level 3 PCI Merchant, ECSI is required to perform an Annual self-assessment questionnaire, complete an Attestation
of Compliance Form, and have a quarterly network scan performed by a PCI Authorized Scan Vendor (ASV) on our perimeter network.
ECSI satisfies these requirements.
NOTE: ECSI does not appear on the global merchant or providers list because we are not a Level 1 PCI Merchant.
Compliance with the PCI DSS gives ECSI's clients the peace of mind that our credit card system is in line with industry standards.
