We are please to announce the
2010-2011
Tuition Payment Plan
Administered by Educational Computer Systems Inc.
Norwich University is pleased to offer an interest-free installment payment plan to help students and parents make
their education affordable. The plan permits for payment of tuition, fees, room and board in monthly installments over
the course of the semester instead of one lump sum prior to the start of the semester. The annual budget amount is determined
by calculating the total direct costs of the student's full academic year, subtracting any scholarships or other funds that will
contribute to college costs, and arriving at the amount the family will be expected to pay.
A non-refundable administration fee must accompany the application before processing can begin. This is a graduated fee
based on the time of application. If you begin in June the fee for the plan is $70.00.
Payments are due on the fifteenth of each month and paid directly to our administrator, Educational Computer Systems Inc.
The first installment will be due on June 15. You will be billed for each additional payment. This is our only approved payment
plan.
How do I enroll in the payment plan?
First, determine your annual budget amount using the worksheet attached. It's as simple as 1-2-3!
- Determine your total annual expenses using the cost figures provided.
- Enter your financial aid, student loans, scholarships and other funds that will be applied to your account. Refer to your 2010-2011 financial aid award letter for credit information.
- Subtract the total credits from the total of the charges to arrive at your annual budget figure. Divide this number by 10 to determine your monthly payment amount.
Next, complete the enclosed application and return it by June 15. You can complete this application on-line at
http://www.ecsi.net/norwich. Include with your application your fist monthly
payment and the non-refundable application fee of $70.00 payable to Norwich University and send it to:
Norwich University
c/o Educational Computer Systems, Inc
181 Montour Run Road
Coraopolis, PA 15108
Upon receipt of your application fee of $70.00 ad first payment, we will establish your account and you will be billed
on the first of every month for you remaining payments. Payments will be due by the 15th of each month.
What about a late enrollment?
If you wish to take full advantage of this monthly payment plan we urge you to make application by June 15; however, enrollment
at a later date is permissible. Late enrollment in the plan is accomplished by dividing line 3 on your worksheet by the appropriate
number of payments remaining as shown in the table below:
| ENROLLMENT DATE |

APPLICATION FEE |
| June 15 |
10 |
$70.00 |
| July 15 |

Return your application, your first payment, and the appropriate application fee to Educational Computer Systems, Inc.

Student Financial Planning Office on a semester basis. The fall semester e-bill is generated by early July. Payment is due on
August 3, 2010. Please pay particular attention to the fall billing as it also contains important insurance information.
Detailed Fees and Financial Policy information is found at http://www.norwich.edu/bursar/fees.html.
The spring semester e-bill is generated in early November. Payment is due on December 7, 2010.
EVERYONE must respond by completing and returning the remittance form found at http://www.norwich.edu/bursar.
The remittance form response tells us your financial plan showing how you intend to pay for each semester and includes
your payment plan information. Please use the worksheet and application on the next page to set up your interest free
payment plan.
